Bitcoin Beach Grants - Round 2

42 Communities, One Mission: Bitcoin Beach & FBCE Announce Latest Grants for BCEs

November 5, 2025

El Zonte, El Salvador / Global — Bitcoin Beach and the Federation of Bitcoin Circular Economies today announced recipeients of the second round of Bitcoin Beach Grants for Bitcoin Circular Economies (BCEs), awarding grants ranging from 500,000 to 5,000,000 sats to 42 BCE projects across 19 countries.

Building on the success of Round 1 in 2024, the grants program continues to strengthen the global movement for grassroots financial inclusion, supporting initiatives that demonstrate how Bitcoin can be used for everyday commerce, education, savings, and local economic resilience. Round 2 recipients include projects in Africa, the Caribbean, Asia, Central America, Europe, North America, and South America—reflecting Bitcoin’s growing role as a global tool for empowerment and innovation.

“These grants accelerate local projects that are building real circular economies—where people earn, save, and spend Bitcoin in daily life,” said Roman Martínez, Co-Founder and Community Lead at Bitcoin Beach (El Salvador). “From markets and stores to youth programs and women-led initiatives, we’re seeing Bitcoin empower communities to solve local problems with Bitcoin, one transaction at a time.”

“This round is about practical tools and building for sustainability,” said Scott Wolfe, Global Coordinator of the Federation of Bitcoin Circular Economies. “By pairing these small grants with mentorship and training, we’re helping projects reach the next level—greater adoption, stronger leadership, and thriving local networks that keep value circulating close to home.”

Through these grants, Bitcoin Beach and FBCE are deepening their commitment to financial education, entrepreneurship, and community-driven adoption—demonstrating that Bitcoin’s impact goes beyond technology, touching lives and livelihoods in diverse cultural and economic contexts around the world.
